I've been towing with an elegance spec OUTLANDER 2.0d since September. very pleased with it so far but ride not as smooth as in my old Citroen C5 exclusive estate!; it does tend to pitch a little at low speeds but once moving is fine. I regulary get over 42 to the gallon solo on 30 / 40 mile...

The same engine is in both cars so performance should be similar. I have had a C5 1.9 110 and now have a C5 2.0 138 bhp and both are wonderful towcars, -- BUT BEWARE -- all C5s have a low max grass towing weight, they do vary slightly by model and engine type but all are low
