    crossways weymouth cc site

Hello Jo anne, we had a couple of weeks at Crossways 2 years ago. Typical CC site in many ways though the pitches are grouped together in small sections around most of the site. This doesnt leave much room for the kids to play in front of the van which was a concern for us at the time, though...

I agree - CC are always helpful whenever Ive contacted them. Had to claim for a damaged front window last year which was sorted with no problem at all.

What is a caravan to you

Its the middle of Feb on a very wet, very cold, very dark day. At the minute the caravan is a bit of light at the end of the winter tunnel.

    Avondale Osprey front panel cracks

Our Bailey Ranger 550/6 has has just been in for its 1st service. Was horrified when the dealer rang to tell me they had found a crack in the front panel which had subsequently let in some water. The dealer advised that they are very busy with accident repairs and would not be able to fix the...

Cris,to quote "A guy or gal killing themself at 100mph in a super car is worse than some smack head dying having sold his filthy drugs to others and ruining their lives?" Its the guy or gal in the car travelling in the opposite direction that I feel sorry for. Sorry but I agree with tina ob...

Bainland counrty park or Kelling heath?

Hi Mark, we live about 50 miles away from Bainland and use it a lot for weekends and out of season breaks. In our opinion the facilities are excellent and the site is well run. The site is very popular with children at weekends and during school holidays. Very nice bar / restaurant on site with...

    the Vendee and Dordorgne sites

Hi Helen, we stayed near St Jean de Monts 3 years ago at Camping La Yole. Its a typical "seaside" resort and has a very nice beach. Quite a bit to do in the area. If you only plan to travel 2 hours into France from Calais you will be leaving yourself quite a drive the following day. We stayed...

    skegness

Mark, we stayed at The Caravan Club's Skegness Sands site for a weekend a couple of years ago. The club only manage it and there are a lot of static caravans on the site. Its up to the usual club standards though and is right on the beach. As I remember there is a swimming pool as well...

    Spooky or What

Cris, thats a bit harsh. Im not saying the Engalnd cricket team is the best in the world but what a series. Maximum effort with great sportsmanship from an up and comming predominantly young team - cricket just doesnt get any better than that. I for one was lucky enough to have a magnificent day...
