Sounds like a transformer issue to me if issue is still there on 12V and on 240V hook-up

Kampa Air Awning rubber valve pipes repair suggestions

Try heat shrink rubber if you can remove the pipes if not, cut heat shrink along its length and wrap around pipe, super glue to make heat shrink back into a tube and heat seal

    Replacement air awning inner tube

One thing that I tried that actually worked was to re-weld the end seems with a food bag closure welder (Cost less than £30 on Amazon). Punctures along the main tube is generally easy to repair with tent seem repair tape (Again on Amazon around £10 for 3 mtrs)

    Hi Everyone

Don't be put off with older vans! An older van well cared for is much better than a poorly maintained newer van. My van is a perfectly good 2004 Bailey Ranger with everything we need including shower. All electrics have been updated to LED and I owe nothing to anyone.

    Hi Everyone

Damp is a major issue with all caravans irrespective of age especially during the winter months. We have been caravanning for many years and there are several lost cost ways to greatly reduce these problems like making sure all outside panel seams and especially windows are properly...

    Pipe cleaner products

The only thing that I would add is, Caustic Soda does not do rubber any favours. Most rubber can tolerate it but rinse thoroughly when finished. As I've already said, I have been using Caustic Soda for more years than I can remember and I have never had any issues.

Don't forget the lead pipes. Wow! I really opened a can of worms on this subject

    Pipe cleaner products

The Drain Cleaner version is safe in plastic pipes. You'll be hard pressed to find metal drain pipes in houses. I've used the Caustic Soda version for years in my caravan without issue. Block the outlet, pour down drains, leave 30 mins then rinse - easy.

Personally, I use caustic soda/drain cleaner. Just don't leave in the pipes too long.

    Internet Issues

Hi everyone. Currently using a TP Link MR6400 mounted inside my wobbly box and a Poynting omni-directional antenna mounted on the roof just above the door. The signal inside the van is "acceptable" but outside in the awning, the signal is "dire" to say the least. Where am I going wrong? and how...

    VANGO AIR AWNING ISSUES

To date, Vango have not had the decency to reply to me other than automated reply. As far as I am concerned, Vango have certainly lost my custom and I hope many others have read these threads and take notice by avoiding the purchase of Vango products

    VANGO AIR AWNING ISSUES

There almost definitely appear to be an issue with Vango awnings air-tubes (bladders), either with the material or manufacturing process and considering the cost of these awnings Vango (and others) should be carefully reviewing their products. I for one, will not purchase any further products...

    VANGO AIR AWNING ISSUES

Hi Ferrodo Like you, I only inflate to 7-8 psi but Vango seem to be particularly poor in the quality of materials used. With main structure bladders failing in my case and each fitted inside an outer sleeve restricting its expansion, this sort of thing should never happen. These bladders should...
