I have the same problem here.Checked my battery conected to van this was reading 13.6 volts I have removed the battery and taken it to home and checked again with a meter to find the battery is not holding its charge .Im no pofessor but I believe the charger is is trying to get up around its max...

When I did mine I fitted the small toggle switch into the top above the board so the flush is still where it used to be .. I hope it works for you. Sir Roger

We had the same problem with our 2010Elite Searcher and yes it was the hook up cable all screwsss inside the plug rusted New cable and all ok.
