How do you remove the lower cover to access the bulb? Tried the 2 bottom tabs which just broke as they're quite brittle It's on a 2014 Elddis Avante

Mine hasn't really been washed since we bought it last year. I always pre-washed the old one with snow foam that I use for the cars and then just a good wash with my mitt and the car wash soap which usually shifted the rest

I stumbled upon Adrias brochures not long ago that we got from the camping and caravan show at Thainstone a couple of years ago, but chucked them as we bought a new Elddis last year. I'm sure it was a dealer but can't quite remember where they were from

Father in law used a 2001 C5 2.2 HDI for towing all the time and it pulled an old swift conquerer no problem.

Could've been a mixture of both as they were impossible to get off with the black mark stuff I bought from our caravan dealer

Hi and welcome. On our last caravan which was caked in black marks, I snowfoamed it to loosen the dirt etc, then took a specialist fallout (tar bugs etc) remover and sprayed it on the black marks which helped a fair bit. Then I tried an acid free wheel cleaner that I use for the car and worked...

Had the new van out a couple of weeks ago for the traditional music festival in Keith and of course the dog had to come too. And with us now having a half door unlike the bailey, she's like a nosey neighbour

2011 Peugeot 508SW 2.0d Auto, towing a 2014 Elddis Avante 540. Only done a short trip of about 90 miles but got 25mpg. Solo i'm getting roughly 35 or so, but i do have a heavy right foot :oops:

Having not long bought a 2014 Elddis Avante 540, I'm looking at getting a good wheel clamp for it. Our old Bailey Senator had a through wheel Alko unit with it which was great but not sure if I could get the same for the new van. What's everyone's recommendations?

Had her for coming up 2 years now and apart from a few of the festivals, she's with us all the time. Here's her in the caravan at Lossiemouth last June. After a long spell down at the beach How she is normally (if we can get her to sit still for 2 seconds)

A lot of folk liking the username but it came about a few years ago after I couldn't get any sort of names on the xbox. Went into the random name generator thing on it and out popped SquigglyCrayon, so i've used it for everything ever since
