There are 3 different 1.5 Ecoboost engines available on the Kuga, 120ps,150ps and the 182ps automatic. Each one has different characteristics & towing limits (1800,2000 & 1850kg) The 1.5 diesel has 120ps but a towing limit of 1200kg. Hope this helps

Its probably personal preference. Bike racks on the back of the car can mean that once in place you cant open the rear hatch & if mounted to the tow bar can effect the nose weight of the caravan onto the tow ball due to the extra loading. Roof mounted racks are out of the way but as you say...

Although not on the toll road, I travel on the M6 daily. Its not just caravans that break the speed limit, I regularly see trailers being towed at 70mph+ with little regard for safety let alone the law. I'm not sure average speed camera's are smart enough to tell the difference between cars...

Dustydog's leaky tubes are becoming quite a saga now. But we need a new awning soon as our old Dorema is getting tired and saggy. A bit like its owners ! ;)

Hi George, We went to Sanssouci zu Potsdam with the Caravan Club last year. The site was fantastic set in parkland at the side of Templinar Lake. You can catch a tram from the campsite into Potsdam & then by train into Berlin. It takes roughly a hour to reach the centre of Berlin. Be warned...

The Factory Towbar includes Trailer Sway Control as part of the price. Most aftermarket towbar's don't include the required electronic connections for this to work, hence the difference in price!
