    blinds

    When the blinds are closed for any length of time, such as when your van is in storage, the springs become weaker. If you remove the blind casing and take out the blind the springs can be rewound by rotating the blind spindle and then refixing in the casing taking care not to let it unwind.

    Bed slats

    I have an 'L'shape seat arrangement to the rear of my Elddis caravan which forms a double bed. However the length of the slats is long enough to bend significantly to the point that the first slat broke this summer. Has anyone else suffered this and if so did they find a long term solution...

    mondeo 1.8 16v zetec

    I tow a 5 berth Elddis with a 2.0 litre petrol Mazda 6 and have no problems. In fact we towed 1000 miles in Europe in the summer. The Mazda kerb weight is 1375kg.
