    Portable Air Con

I’ve already got a battery and solar charger, these are optional anyway as it can run straight from mains. My main query is if anyone has actual experience with one? Most YouTube reviews are sponsored by ecoflow, so are obviously going to show it as highly rated

    Portable Air Con

Maximum power draw is 690w, providing (according to documentation) 6100btu cooling. It runs off battery also, and can use solar panels to directly run it as well as AC, so it’s not a portable air con unit like you’d get from Argos, it’s designed for camping and off grid use

    Portable Air Con

Has anyone tried the Ecoflow Wave 3, or even wave 2, air conditioning units in a caravan? According to the specs, it can cool between 11m2-17m2 of space, so caravans would be within the range. It would be a bit of a faff to sort a window block for the vents, but that aside, wondering if they are...

    Noseweight query

ok thanks, so really, I can stuff all my things at the front of the caravan to reach close to that magic 100kg's and leave the rear as light as possible? All my research seems to return people asking about the complete opposite, trying to bring the weight down

    Noseweight query

Hey guys, I have seen a few videos on the subject, and done some research, but when looking into noseweights I can only find info about the limits. I have a 1450 MTPLM caravan, noseweight limit at the hitch is 100kg, my car is a Ford Ranger pickup, towing capability of 3500kg, towbar accepts...

    Starlink

Yea exactly that, i'll be taking work calls which is a video call on MS Teams, aswell as doing video calls in the evenings to play dungeons and dragons. I know a caravan holiday is to get away from all the tech, but the style of trip I like to do means I'll be in a field several days at a time...

    Starlink

Hi John, yea i saw that thread but the only mounting comment i saw on it was to use a pole. I'm currently thinking just poking it through the roof vent and placing it on the roof of the caravan, but then would need to find a way to get the cable inside for the router without having a window...

    Starlink

That's exactly what I thought about the mini, that and the fact that the router is separate on the standard is what I am most likely going to go for. I can't go with 5g though as I need guaranteed connection and speed. I'll be working remotely from the caravan, and playing an online game with...

    Starlink

I have a need for decent internet whilst using my caravan, relying on the wifi at campsites or 5g from a mobile tether is just not suitable. I have decided to use starlink due to its decent download and upload speeds that should be achievable (as opposed to just marketing "receive up to"...
