Caravan covers, good idea or not?

We’re in the “wouldn’t be without one” club. We’re on our 3rd one. They seem to last about 4 years before they start to disintegrate. We store our caravan half under a scotts pine tree which the pigeons love, so the cover keeps birds mess and tree sap off. The cover keeps the van in pristine...

    Eurotunnel

We had booked a 7.20am outward bound crossing last Monday morning, checked in at 6.20 but was bumped onto the 7.50 crossing. Not happy – could have stayed in bed a little longer!

    How Close have you been?

We have a one hour rule for weekend locations. We have discovered you don’t need to go very far from home to discover new places and have a wonderful time. Once pitched, we try to use mainly feet or bikes and have discovered so many fascinating details which we would never encountered otherwise...

    should they be white?

While I love our white van (especially when someone else has just cleaned and polished it), I think white vans can be a blot on an otherwise beautiful landscape. Wouldn't caravans and caravaners earn themselves a better name if they were coloured to blens in better with their surroundings? I...
