Right, looked back over some old threads and I come up with the user name I am posting with on here - if you see what I mean? How can I change back to my old user name?

Hi, I thought I'd give the new forum a look using my old user name, wouldn't let me log in, I've had to re register using the same user name but with a different email address - why is that, and what's happened with all my posts/threads I've contributed to the forum over the years? :unsure:

How can the club be responsible for a few pigeons, and why do people have to moan when they are woke up at an early hour by a bit of cooing? Agreed, they do make a mess, but certainly not enough to upsticks and move off site - ridiculous! (Review of Southlands IoW)

It's a complete waste of time when people review a site, and the best they can do is complain about pigeons!

No different from the CC then! We went to one of the basic facility sites in Norfolk a couple of weeks ago, been there umpteen times. On this occasion the warden was positively obnoxious, pulled us up for allegedly speeding away from the office - not true, pointed to the 5 mile per hour sign -...

I'd love to know where all these officious jobsworth individuals are, because I've never encountered one on the sites we use/used - and that's a fair few of them!!

Looks like something out of Ikea - and those ghastly soft furnishings!

OH washes the caravan roof with a hose, (not now though), and we dry wash the rest of the 'van. If he spreads the stuff on, I go behind and clean it off. We can do the whole thing in about an hour - not bad for an 8m caravan!!

As a matter of fact, I saw one last Sunday on A47, wasn't impressed!!

We went to Start Bay about three autumns ago, and liked it alot. It's situated beside the road, but if you managed to get a pitch on the other side of the site, away from the road, it's nice and quiet. It's close to a shop and pubs, and not too far from the beach - certainly within walking...

Not while we are fit and healthy! If things changed, I don't think we would dismiss the idea completely.

In 30 odd years of caravanning, we have never used a seperate container for drinking water, only that drawn from the aquaroll. Never had any upset stomach or the like, because of it!

Would have liked to have joined in the May jaunts, however, with the impending arrival of a new grandchild at that time, our daughter would be none too chuffed at our absence!! Like the "Lady" bit, though - haven't been called that for years! Lol
