If I want to stay on post 12 noon then I ask and am willing to pay for the privlage, dont see a problem with that. If you want to stay past time pay up and stay, if you dont want to pay go home Simple

We normally caravan witin an hour's drive of where we live so no fun leaving at 12pm and being home by 1pm just to twiddle our thumbs. I agree on the flexible approach depending on the time of the year. On one occasion we were staying on a C &CC site and asked if we could stay longer and we were told that the site was nearly full booked for the Sunday afternoon.

I then paid for the pitch for the night but without electric and stayed on until about 5:30pm. In all that time only one caravan came onto the site! We no longer belong to the C & CC who have dictators managing most of their sites. We have never had a problem on a CC site.

Wardens applying the 12 o'clock rule unnecessarily is of course the worst scenario of all.

Although I strongly support the 12 o'clock rule at PEAK periods, it's ridiculous to apply it when there's a reasonable choice of pitches for booked arrivals.
