When we visited the Glasgow show we saw several Pursuits but were not impressed and taking out the dividing screen in the larger ones was a saving too far.. The caravans felt cheap to us compared with the Venus and Sprites which are two major competitors. The kitchens were just too small and the toilet compartments were the most cramped I have seen for an end toilet. Without the dividing screen you would need the toilet for changing and there was not the room. We also thought the wardrobe next to the toilet in some was just not on.
The best to us was the largest twin axle which seemed to have a less cramped toilet than the ones with an end one, although the kitchen flap coming up in front of the door was not a good idea, but there is nowhere else to put it.

On the surface and in the review a nice looking van but Ray's real life user look at the range is very useful and eye opening. Not looking good for use of space which is essential when using the van as we would on site with little or no facilities. What with that and the limited bed size in the new Unicorns, Bailey may need to start re jigging things sooner rather than later.

A Pursuit 430/4 was on our list for when we decide to go back to a conventional caravan. Didn't want an end washroom as it made the caravan too long for the drive, and we can manage with a side bathroom very well. Although most sites that we visit have showers anyway. What decided us against the 430/4 was the lack of anything approaching a reasonable space in the kitchen area. Now we don't do 8 course taster menus, but we do like somewhere to store the pots and pans and somewhere to put them when dishing up. In this respect the 430/4 was way below anything we have had before. Also the lack of separation between bedroom and kitchen/lounge wants good. One we saw had an Argos floppy curtain stuck to the ceiling. I know that it is geared towrds coupls but as said above getting changed would have required the blinds to be down. As DJT would say "Not good"
