Hello Rod,

As Steve says there are plenty of such devices called power supplies.

What is important is to ensure you choose the one with the right capacity to cope with the appliances you want to use.

Also check out Maplin electronics.

If you post a few more details of you application I could give more focused advice.

yes, but the best and cheapest way would be to use a battery and charge it while not in use. then you can use the battery on the caravan when it is complete.

Even a cheap battery will run 5 lights and a pump all day.

Hello rod,

Steves solution is perfectly good but there are alternatives. You will need about 10A @12Vdc to run all the items.

As for cost, look at

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=power supply&doy=20m10&source=15
Item XM19V - about the same cost as a battery and charger!

Dont be put off by teh 13.8V, that is a common charging voltage.

You can pay a lot more for switchmode supplies, but they generalry have a greater current capcaity.

Best of luck.
