3 modem usage abroad

I can anyone help, were in France and I bought a wireless 3 modem non contract before Xams which works fine in the U.K.

Bought a voucher for £15 before we came away and converted it to internet time.

In France light on modem goes to green and count down it is on but i cannot get onto any websites.

Does any one have any ideas?

I am using a surfer at the campsite at present, which is annoying because it only works down the pub. What a shame I hear you say

Aftre quick internet search i found this

At present all broadband dongles are preset not to roam to stop customers running up huge bills without knowing. A call to customer services will activate it if you want it.

Hope this is the case and a simple phone call solves your problem.

3 cs 08707 330 333 will have to change for abroad obviously

Beware if you are using a 3 mobile dongle in France as the charge (with contract) is

3 rang my mobile today whilst going through all the security checks and then trying to find the fault money run out after telling him we where in France out on a mobile.

Problem still not resolved even after telling him to send us an email on how to correct it.

cannot wait to give them a piece of my mind when i get home.
