Hi Everyone.
I recently received a card from a company called "Lets be clear at 800".
Gist of the card was to say that Freeview TV may have interference when 4G becomes active nearby. In that case, it is necessary to call the company and receive a free filter...SIMPLES

Got me thinking, what about TV in caravans? It would not known in advance of arrival at a site if interference was a problem.

I asked "Lets be clear at 800" for a free filter to use if needed...Not possible was the answer but I could buy one from Tinternet for 15 quid.

Ofcom's rules apparantly.

I am about to write to Ofcom to complain.

Be warned

hi Brum,
interference on freeview by the 4G network was known about when the franchise were sold even though at the same time we were being forced onto digital when the analouge signal was switched off, (it would not have interfered with a analouge signal)
the government knew of the problems the netwok would have when the digital switch over was complete but did it anyway with previso that the the new companies would supply filter to affected areas, unfortunatly caravans are mobile so not stuck to one area,
you could take the one from home I suppose, or go for satelite,
