Hello,

We have an Abi Monza 400 D. We think it is about 18 years old, possibly more. we seem to manage quite well with it, as it is such a lightweight van. We tow with a vauxhall astra 1.4 petrol car (yes i klnow you will laugh) but like i say as it so light we mangae, we have now got the packing just right which always helps and keep the tyre pressures topped up. Not sure about anyone else but we find to run the fridge etc on gas is VERY economical! would appreicate any other comments etc if people have the same van

Thanks

Andrea & Andy

Hi

Our First Van was a Monza again not sure of the year but it was a basic but lovely van and we had a gr8 time with it.

It is so easy to tow and we used the Gas alot with the fridge and yes it was cheap.

Hope you have some gr8 holidays.

I don't know when the Monza name was dropped but they were building 400D models in 1983 when we bought our ABI Ace Globetrotter.

No-one's laughing - I used an Astra 1.8 automatic to tow 1250kg, which it did very well and was only sold because I wanted 4wd for winter use.

our first van was a Monza 5 birth. Great van built in 1989, we had it in 2000 for 18 months. no problems with it at all. great build quality, it was cream with a brown skirt
