On our local news a man got 32 years for a murder in Cumbria area. While those pair that murdered their young daughter also got hefty sentences. Well done đź‘Ź judge's it is about time.

Yet attacks on MPs are not treated equally. Jo Cox died . Yet the miscreant against a Clacton MP walked🙀
But the attack in Clacton was only throwing a substance. Whilst I don’t condone it, there’s no comparison with Jo Cox’s murder. John Prescott knew how to dish out swift justice to those that throw messy substances. That miscreant wasn’t even charged for throwing the egg.
He wasn't an MP at the time.
The young lady should have been rewarded for her actions.
We are walking on difficult sand in this subject area. The cases where a judge has to give a custodial sentence are covered by so many caveats based on th e circumstances of the case, you cannot easily make fair comparisons of sentences between cases.
