Sorry I can't help you with spares for it.

4 Jan 2007 11:19 AM You have no chance Frederick. I've been trying ages in this forum for info on the Camel Caravan without success. I do know that the Camel Caravan does have a by product that can supply you with gas for the Agrarian if you are interested. If you are please get my email from my website - www.cameldumps4u.com. I will then let you know where we are on our wanderings and maybe then you can bring a bucket and shovel and help yourself ;O)

Peace on your waterhole Frederick and may your camels continue to multiply :O)

This sounds like our very first caravan, a Trophy Agrarian 4/6! We bought ours new in 1987, but I think Trophy had been making this model for a few years before that. The company, unfortunately, stopped making caravans in the early 90s, but they were based in Lancashire. I have a few more bits of information at home, which I will look out this evening. What did you particularly want to know?

Good luck - I hope you have as much fun with your Agrarian as we did with ours.

Hi chrissie, there is a society? called the Agrarian peoples caravan like brian described. I've just done a search and I found the following on Trophy caravans. I don't know if the following is of any help to Frederick if theres such a caravan as the Agrarian.

Try a Mark Lewis @ http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk he knows absolutely everything about Trophy, and if he doesnt he'll know a man who does!

Some photos here: http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/1370711

Hi, Frederick. I don't know whether you have managed to get any other information yet, but I have now found the sales leaflet I have, which relates to the 1987 range of Trophy caravans. I don't know what age yours is, because the Silver range (model names with an Ag prefic - Aglia, Agilic, Agistar and Agrarian) were in production for several years before that. Later models had a brownish exterior trim, older ones had blueish decals, which may help.

1n 1987, no Agrarian 6 is listed, only the 4/6 (which we had) and the Agrarian 4 De-Luxw, which I think was a twin axle. The unladen weight of the former is given as 15.39cwt, MGW 21.60cwt, and for the latter as 18.34cwt and 23.57cwt.

The manufacturers address at that time was Trophy Caravans Ltd, Orchard Mill, Westhead Road, Croston, Nr Preston. I know that they moved to another address, still in the Preston area, before ceasing production, but I'm afraid I don't have that.

The chassis was not the standard Al-Ko chassis, but was made by another company, which I seem to recall was called something like 'Ashfield Developments'.

We later had another Trophy, a 1991 Olympic Silver, and were well pleased with both the caravans. Decent construction, fairly lightweight, good level of equipment (for the time) and excellent value for money.
