AL-KO 2004 Friction Pads

Having recently unhitched the van after a 100 mile trip, one of the side friction pads from inside the towing hitch 'dropped out' of the hitch. I popped it back in place but I feel that this is not an effective 'fix'. Any ideas what could have happened and any tips on how the change the pads? The van/hitch is coming up to 3 years old and has been used a fair bit in all seasons.

if the circular pad came out without a stalk on it then you will require a new set of side pads.approx

The pad has come out without the stalk attacched - so a new set of pads required. Thanks for the info about the website. I assume that the replacement pads are stored by most caravan spares outlets?
