The latest Caravan Club Mag. warns of the costs of making calls on the Portsmouth/Bilbao ferry route; these calls being by satellite and are pricey. I was charged £2.70 to RECEIVE a brief call on a D.F.D.S. North Sea crossing so be warned. Whilst it may not be so blessed to receive than to give it is certainly does'nt come cheap.

Travelling on new Norfolk Line ferry, Dover / Dunkerque beware of the same. You get ship based signal, must be satellite I assume.

So beware of costs!
