Anyone know whether it is possible/cost effective to have small dents repaired on my caravan. There must be around 20 small dents on the outside from awning poles/accidents etc none any bigger than a penny and not deep maybe 3mm. Caravan is 10 years old so don't want to spend loads but would like to tidy it up

The problem with dents in aluminium is that as it is dented the metal stretches so can never be pulled out effectively.
However, someone like a car dent repair company may be able to effect a decent repair

You will also need wet-and-dry paper, elbow grease and paint.

What you really need are the 'dings' like on the caravan the salesman is selling you, invisible apparently to the naked eye, but not the sort as on your van when he's buying! (never misses one!)

Isopon and suction pads are for car wings never mind trying to spray paint the repair up, try Decals, my last caravan had a long dent down one side through the previous owner trying to go through narrow lanes in Cornwall, I had a decal made up and when I went to trade the caravan in the salesman said, ' What a nice caravan',

Yes - I went the decal way on my previous van. I put two deep grooves in the side when moving the van through the drive gates. Being an old van, I didn't want to spend a fortune on it so I filled the grooves, rubbed it down well, then found some Fablon which matched the brown of the original decals. By cutting out two pieces in a suitable shape, I covered up the grey filler.
