Hello all,

I started caravaning last October, well got my first van but did not go out in it till this March, my Pat and I liked it so much we sold the old van and brought a newer one, pick it up in a weeks time, it is a little larger but am looking forward to holidaying in it.

Booking up for a week in Devon in May.

Pat said she will do most of the main road driving and I will do the tricky bits down lanes, sounds good to me.

My next job is to make room in the rear garden, remove shed take down fence lay concreate.

It is a good job I have retired.

I still feel that I am a newby but until I have mastered reversing thats what I will be.

All the street come out to see me reversing or move there cars but all in good fun.

If anyone see's me at a camp site you will reconise me, I'm the one that takes a hour to park and two hours to set up.

I will not tell you about the awning going up in side out.

Happy caravaning all.

Hi reg & Pat.

Good to hear from you. Caravanning is a such a wonderful pleasure.

Sounds like Pat has the towing clocked, well done.

As for reversing, join the club. What you makes you think you are worse than anyone else! I take my time and get the caravan exactly where I want it. I'm on holiday not a race.

Chers

Welcome to the "tek nay notice club"We have all been and will continue to be of great interest to our fellow caravanners. It is a lucky camper that has NEVER performed the most ludicrous actions, even if not in the public domain then "serpently"within the confines of the van!!!We have given numerous entertaining performances whilst going about our latest bodge up of the newest accessory we cannot survive without.ie:- sat tv.Today's novice is only tomorrows expert, before reading instructions Just don't take it too seriously cos it is a hobby for relieving stress!!!

Have lots of fun and enjoy the adventures.

Dustydog, thanks for asking about the new metalwork!!!!It is getting better slowly but I am not a very good patient.More impatient really! Looking forward to getting away in Hetty Heritage in 3 weeks time.I have been very envious of you all as you load up and hit the road.If you see a bossy woman plonked in a chair and giving loud instructions to her poor husband,THAT WILL BE ME****** Just sit back and enjoy the show!!!!!
