This is my families 1st year of caravans. We live about 1 and half hours from the east coast. We are thinking of trying either Incleboro Fields or Seacroft in Cromer. Has anyone been to these sites and what are they like?

We have 2 young children 6 and 20 months and well behaved dog.

I know Cromer well but never used a caravan over there.

We use the Incleboro Fields site, about two or three times a year, for weekends. It's in two parts, the first area is tiared in bays, with views to the sea, and the second area is more open, the two main parts of the site are divided with woodland pitches. All pitches are grass, you will need levelling blocks, dog walking is very good, as the site is surrounded by heathland, and if you like golf, the club is next door. Good facilites for children.

We have never actually used the Seacroft site, and wouldn't choose to, being close to the main coast road and always full, so rather busy! It does have the club house, which may or may not suit you, and it did have a swimming pool, but I'm not sure whether it was included in the refurb. It is within walking distance of the town, which is an advantage, it also has facilites for the children, you can see them from the road, not sure about dog walking.

Hope this helps! :O)

Yes this is a huge help. It sounds to me that the Incleboro Fields site would suit us better. Out of interest when booking do you get a choice of which half you stay in and which would you say is more suited, children being top of our list.

Tugster,

As you are not allocated pitches, you can choose where to stay. Both sides of the site have childrens play areas, so it will be a case of take your pick! :O)

As we have no children with us now, we tend to use the first section of the site, for the views.

Hi Tugster,

we've used Incleboro fields since 1991,I think its a great site.

Our youngster was three when we started staying there,we always

go over the hill into the valley, which we think is better when

you are with children. We are staying for the Cromer carnival in

August.Had a look at Seacroft last year probably need a few years to establish but still not for me.

Its like Wendy has said.

Regards,

FrankE.
