Is any one on here from Chepstow or the surounding area? Just after a bit of info, Last year we went to the Welsh Motor Show at Chepstow Race course. It was around 19/20 August. I have tried to get info about it this year and was wondering if it was on? If any one has any info could you let me know, as if its on i want to go as it is an excellent day out, with loads of displays and well worth the entry fee.

Diane I have done a search through MSN and it would appear that there is no Welsh Motor Show this year. There are plenty of classic vehicle shows throughout Wales but not for ne cars. Sorry lass but I could not find anything relating to your posting. Incidently there is no need to shout - no wonder that young lad was smiling the other day when he said you were down the other store - it must have been like a day off for him.

Thanks Colin, thought i was going bonkers. I searched it and found nothing, i went on race course list of events still nothing. Shame its not on as all the car clubs did a very good turn out and there were some fab displays. Ade and i are in to very fast cars, He has just sold an Evo IV and is thinking of getting a Skyline! I have a an Ep3 Civic type R.( No good for towing the van).

I am not into modern day cars - they do nothing for me. I prefer the post second world war British classic vehicle scene. Cars, commercials and busses. Not much interest in military vehicles, motor bikes or fire engines but all others YES. Also the steam engine days especially Great Western Steam. Have often been called an anorack but I don't care - I don't smoke, drink in moderation and don't gamble.

Ade loves steam trains. His Dad used own a coal mine and when they used to ship the coal the train driver used to let him stand on the plate. You would have loved the classic car show in the Three counties show ground this weekend, it was huge. There is one in Swansea later on in August aswell

The only problem with all shows nowadays is that because they are so popular it costs a fortune for entry. It is becoming a rip off. A family of two parents and two children would be looking at least
