I hope if anyone goes away this week the fuel situation is ok for them. We are off on a long jaunt Friday to Norfolk then down to Suffolk for the second week. I hope this fuel situation is resolved by then. I went to our local Tesco Express at 1.30pm and it was almost empty, I thought they were out of fuel but no. The Texaco station just a few yards down the road weren't faring as well though, they had quite a few pumps locked :O(

Hi LB, were off to Godrevy on Thursday for 5 days. Less than 1/2 tank each way so should be ok to get a bit whilst were down there, if not prahaps we can have an extended break

I could have an extended stay but Her Ladyship has to go to work to keep me in the manner I've become accustomed to :O)

We're away either tomorrow or Tuesday,LB,not decided yet.Off up to Hadrians Wall/Scottish borders/Barnard Castle areas for a week or so.More to test out the warranty work on the van than anything. Will be taking the laptop thing with us to see if we can get on t'internet away from the old homestead.We tried the other month from Scotland but the damned Norton went on the blink (not the motorbike,the firewall thingy).It wouldn't let us connect and I hadn't packed the software to uninstall and reinstall.
Anyway,it looks like we're going to get wet during the week so we can stay in and fiddle with the lappie till we get it right.

We're also on the not-really-broad-band-at-all pay as you grow orange service. Not fast but it's not bad for a quid is it.

Hi all. This Friday I'll be taking the van from J8 M11 (work) to Leics (home), having a kip and then onto Bristol (Aust) for 1 night, then Looe cc for 8 nights, back to Aust for 1, then home for 2 and back down to Stansted for work on the Wed evening. Looking forward to our holiday though! If things get worse I'll be putting in little amounts of fuel every time I pass a garage with no queues! Or just break something on the car and get recovery to take me!!
