Anyone live in their caravan full time?

My husband and I are thinking about renting out our home and living in our touring caravan full time. Is there anyone else out there who has done this? I would like to chat to anyone who has done this.

hello there, Suzanne. been full time now for about 19 months.unlike you we decided to sell up everything so there's no turning back for us, we love the lifestyle this has enabled us to have, I am self employed so I only have to work when I want to, this also enables me to control what income tax I have to pay as well as doing away with the obvious like council tax , utility bills,TV licience etc, we use my parents address for post,banks, docter's etc, we also get to meet loads of people on differant CL sites that we visit, it's suprising how many full timers there are out there, if you are lucky you might find a site that lets you stay longer than the legal 28 days if not its no great hassle to up sticks and find the next site. if I can help you give us a shout........Mark

We did it for 2 1/2 years moving into bricks & mortar again in May 2008 and have regretted it ever since. Worst decision we have ever made and even the wife agrees. Now looking at going permanent again as less stress and worry.
