Tried out this recipe for Apple Pie Bites the other day and thought it would be great one for doing in a caravan since there are only a few ingredients and takes only 10-15 mins to bake.
All you need is :
1 can Jus-Rol ready to bake croissants
1 cooking apple
3 tbsps Soft brown sugar
Melted butter - about 1 tbsps
1 egg
Some apple pie spice or cinnamon - or whatever spice you like

Unroll the croissants and cut along the score lines to separate the triangles.
Mix the brown sugar with about 1 tsp of spice and sprinkle over the pastry triangles.
Peel and core the apple and cut into 6 thick slices.
Coat each apple segment in melted butter and roll up in one of the pastry triangles to cover.
Place on parchment/greaseproof paper lined tray, brush with the beaten egg to glaze and bake as directed on the can.
Super-easy and delicious!

Hutch you would be more than welcome to drop by for tea and apple pie once we get out and about. Collecting the van in 2 weeks time and staying in it for 2 nights straight away to test it out. Visiting the caravan and camping show at the NEC next weekend armed with a list lol !!!

Not going this year, last time we went, ended up changing the caravan for a new one, safer to stay away, got all the gadgets we need, but enjoy the show.

Don't get too carried away with things you don't actually need. Just remember everyone is there to sell!! Keep a check on the show prices for things too, they are not always the cheaper option for the same thing. Above all though, enjoy.

So true Martin, I bought a set of dampers last time from Alko whilst at the show, next day, good Lady, went on line to our local dealer and got a cheaper deal than the show folk could do. Picked up the new van the following week, which had dampers on it, and had to take the dampers back to Alko, for a refund, who luckily are only 40 miles away.
But enjoy the show.

Yes, I think the shows, are waitiing for people to buy on the spur of the moment, although, at closing on the last day you can get some cheap items.
