Archie's Camping Cheque site corrections 2016

From this evening, a new updated version of Archie's Camping is available. This contains Campsite POI's for almost 32,000 sites throughout Europe including Great Britain and Ireland.

'Archie' apologies for the delay of this January update, but wanted to wait until all the details from Camping Cheque, Best Deal and CampingCard were available for 2016.

Besides these major changes of course there have been alterations in the rest of the information about sites. For example: the complete dbase of sites in Poland has been checked and if necessary changed. Many missing data items have been added together with new campsites.

Please, don’t forget: this database can only be kept up to date with the help of you all! So keep sending Archie your comments!

I have heard from 'Archie' that apparently the Camping Cheque information on Archie's Camping website isn't correct. The data was taken from the Camping Cheque website, but wasn't accurate for 2016. There are actually more sites which have dropped out for 2016 and the Camping Cheque file will be correct in the February update. There will be 596 sites available for 2016.

If anyone is setting off before the February update comes out, and uses 'Archies' and needs this information, please can you get in touch via the website and he will send the updated file in whatever format you need.
