Hi.

Having just bought our first van second hand, as part of the starter kit they gave us an awning.
It is a Awaydaze Torino Lux 925 awning but the downside is there is no instructions.

I have sourced a plan from the net which a larger sized awning in the same range but the numbers on the poles don't match up and there are also poles that do not seem to fit anything.

Does anyone on this forum have an instruction sheet for this awning please?

Thank you.

You will probably find instructions sheets are pretty naff that come with awnings anyway , when we first got our full size one we thought half the instructions were missing as the instructions we're just measurements no numbers and nothing like that ,we actually had to measure the Poles and mark them ourselves but when it came to putting it up if it had not been for the people on the other pitch to help us we wouldn't have get it up. Once you've done it once it will stay in your mind but if you can when you have done it , colour code all the poles . Have you tried asking the place where you got it from for any instructions or you can always try the internet.

Craig .

There are always exceptions, but full poled awnings are often very similar in costruction. There will be poles that support the roof. These generally have a hook on the end as they hook into the pads that you fit on the beading of the canvas near the rail. There will be at least 3 of these possibly 5. Then you will have poles for leg uprights, probably 3 ( maybe 5) and then poles that run across the front of the awning joining into corner pieces and T piece that fit atop the leg uprights. Some awnings have poles inside the the canvas overhang at the front.
Suggest you look on you tube for videos of full poled awnings being put up. They may give you some clues as to how yours goes together. Good luck.
One important tip, before getting the divorce in a bag out of the bag make sure you have had a sit down and a cup of tea and have told your OH that whatever happens next you will always love him/her.

Thanks for your replies with your experiences etc.
The video in Craig's post I have seen and I found it helpful.

The main problem I have is - are all the poles there and some poles that I have do not seem to have a home.

I suppose the only way to find out is to put it up!
