I have a Trio Mexico awning and bought a universal annex to use with it but, quite frankly, the annex is rubbish as you can't secure it to the awning properly! Can anyone tell me if I could use another make of annex with the Mexico awning, so that it can be secured with a zipper, if the letters on the zip are the same? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I would very much doubt it. I used a bedroom annexe on an NRAwning a lot of years ago and it zipped into the front end whilst the original end was turned around and zipped into the annexe, closing it off.. Besides the teeth on the zip matching, the exact length will also have to match.
