Best advice I was given on this (from this forum some time ago) was to get some hardboard or plywood just big enough to fit behind the wheel arch in front of the wheel, make sure it's big enough to fit and not rattle, I found hardboard best as it's easily frexible to bend from the bottom and slide up into the wheel arch.

Hope this of help

This seems to be a problem due to the design of newer caravans.Looks before practicality

I met a family at Warwick recently with a new Bessacar and they were wondering what to do with the skirt. The hardboard/plastic method was mentioned then too.

I use the figure of 8 plastic piece available from awning suppliers and bridge the wheel arch with a rectangular skirt piece upwards and fixed to the van with a suction hook at each corner

I have overcome this on my caravan by a really cost free method.

I have simply cut a thick cardboard panel from a cardboard box and shaped the top to fit under the wheelarch. Because its inside the awning it never gets wet, the bottom edge may get damp, and as it's flexible I have not trouble getting it to fit in. When on a journey I fasten it to the cooker front to prevent damage if any thing inside the caravan should come loose and roll around. This panel has been in use for three seasons and will be replaced this summer.
