Hello all. Anyone on here that can shed light on why the two side front windows let in rain, even when parked? I'm having to replace the Pot shelf again due to staining. I cannot understand why or how the water can find its way past the rubber seal. Any ideas please!

What year and model?
I had my front 3 window seals all replaced when new with "heavy duty" rubbers or perhaps I should say a modified version. Well that's what I was told. All ok now.
You could try lubricating the seals with silicone. Are you sure the windows are correctly positioned on their hinge, ie not too far left or right?

Thanks Dustydog. Its an '08 Series 6 Monarch. It had occurred before, during warranty and Chipping Sodbury had dealt with it. Just had a NCC approved mobile service and the ingress was found then. Bloomin' annoying really, but at least nice Bailey man has compromised with me and have agreed to send replacement seals and pot shelf foc . Its amazing to watch the rain seep thru' 'tween window and rubber at its lowest point, just by the window catch, but how does it get in past the seal ! The only thing I can see that may cause it is the join in the seal is mid-way on the bottom slope of the window?

The dealer usually adjust the top hinge.
Both my 2004 and 2011 baileys had to have this done, but to the middle window, didn't leak afterwards.

Chipping Sodbury fixed mine too! Fitting is easy but there is some debate on whether the join should be at the top or bottom of the window.

There should be no charges for the work due to warranty but still very annoying.

Not sure what you mean by adjusting the top hinge Ray? I've just opened all front windows right up, cleaned inside them and around outside the rubber seals then used silicone on them. Waiting for the next downpour and see what happens. The mobile fitter (very good and recommended) said he sees a lot of problems regarding damp at the front of 'vans, reckoning that the front panel does a lot of flexing throughout its lifetime. Bit miffed that its only a relatively new 'van though! Bailey and Sodbury says not covered by any warranty because its not a "fixed joint" ?? Makes you wonder about water ingress and its true meaning, doesn't it?

As Ray says the windows can be moved on the hinges. This is so they can be adjusted to be correctly "squared up in the frame. If you hold the sides of the windows you will see thay can be slid from side to side.

I had the same problem with my series 5 pagent, My problem was traced to the mastic sealant under the window hangers letting in water & not the rubber window seals. windows were removed & the sealant redone & the wallboard between the 3 front windows replaced
in my instance the water appeared to be comming from the join in the rubber seals which are at the bottom of the seal
