Bailey Pegasus microsite

The site is up and running.I dont see what all the fuss was about as I think the Pegasus is pretty boring looking inside and out.As for the black fornt locker box door what are they thinking about at Bailey? Parking the car on the rof i a good idea if the pitches are a bit tight and you have an awning up..lol

Looks about has aerodynamic has brick, don't know what wind tunnel they tested this in, the new build system looks interesting if it keeps water out could well be a breakthrough Bailey thinks so otherwise they would of not given a ten year guarantee, will need to scrutinise the small print.

One thing Bailey are doing is looking for new innovative ways of redesigning caravans that can only be good for the consumer and may also make the other producers sit up and think about moving forward and not just re jigging interiors and colour schemes, well done Bailey.

I think it actually looks promising aerodynamically for the following reasons:

The front that is exposed above the car's roof has a large curve; reducing drag and minimising nose weight reduction.

The front is smooth without creases, rails, gutters etc.

The front and side windows are flush.

The front corner edges have a radius, and this carries along the sides; no squared off corners.

There is no exposed awning rail on either side and only an awning groove on the near side.

The roof and sides are flat.

The rear is a nice very abrupt cut off.

I am pretty sure somebody who knows about aerodynamics has had an input in the design.

One would hope so !!!! and yes I believe they have had an input, and it has been taken heed of.
