Have any of you had any problems with the durability of the brown worktops used in the original Pegsus?

We haven't had any problems with our Pegasus which is a 2010 model we bought in December 2009, but a lady was asking the same thing of us on Burrs Park last year.
Apparently her's weren't wearing too well although she said she was really careful with them.
Her dealer and Bailey, she said didn't want to know.

Just say i have Bailey Discovery Mercury 08 last year a plate fell and hit the worktop and went in and now that got to be repair and then filled and put some new formica on top . I thought the worktop would be stronger me and the wife could not believe it and when i got in contact with Bailey they did not want to know.

Thanks for your reply. I have been in contact with both the dealer and Bailey to complain about the premature discolouration and marking of the kitchen worktop where the plastic draining board makes contact with the worktop. My van is on a permanent pitch in southern Spain and Bailey have offered to have a look at it with a view to possibly replacing it during the warranty period. I have sent them several photographs which clearly show the deteroriation. However, I have no intention of making a 3000 mile return journey at my own expense just for the possibility of them replacing it. To date neither the dealer or Bailey have offered any other help apart from offering to sell me a replacement at a reduced cost of £192. Not impressed by that, therefore will now take further advice.
