I am looking to buy a Awning for our Bailey ranger. I read in the manual it requires a 989 size, yet when I measure as described on most sites, its measures 972.

What size should I be buying for? a 975 awning or a 1000 awning and is it make dependent, ie Isobella is a 975, but Pyramid is another size?

Worried about buying one and finding its too short or long.

Help appreciated.

Thanks

Gary

When I emailed Bailey the same question they replied as follows:-

Thank you for your email regarding your Bailey Ranger

550/6

The Awning guide for this specific model is 989cms.

It is advised to contact your awning manufacturer or

supplying retailer for advice on the most suitable in between size awning.

The awning sizes I quoted are OK for the manufacturers I stated.

Hi,

I would suggest that you buy an awning based on your own measurements. We have a series 6 bailey pageant champagne and was sold an awning based on the brochure measurement and it was too big, so i measured the van and found a different size was required, luckilly the dealer happilly changed it for me.
