We have been looking for fixed bed with decent shower layout and settled on the Bailey Wyoming, is there anything we should be particularly aware of with this van, the one we saw at the dealers was well finished inside, this will be our first Bailey caravan, and we know there are lots of Bailey fans out there, they can't all be wrong can they?

New Bailey or used?
In that case, sorry I can't help you Keith. We have the previous generation (2004 model) and have only looked over the Series 5. It does look a nice van though, I like the wider body and some other aspects of it, some points are a step back though. The shower isn't so big, the water system has raised quite a few comments and there is no parallel seating option (last time I looked). One thing I do know is that you will enjoy your van, for the money, I don't think there is anything better out there.

Thanks for the reply Lol, I am assuming you have been happy with your Bailey, we have always had Swift Group vans, for past 15 years, but we just can't justify the extra 2.5 grand for the equivalent Abbey Spectrum. We have seen so many Baileys on site lately and there seems to be a lot of Bailey fans on this forum, although you say the shower may be smaller we currently have fixed bed with shower in the corner, so looking forward to the end washroom, also the large fridge and all the cupboard space. Thanks agan for your reply. Keith

Hi Keith, we had a Senator oklahoma (03) we went to look at the series 5 last june, i agree with the comments that Bailey have gone backwards with the series 5, the only benefit for me was the wider body!

I think the 03 model was far superior, so much so that we bought a Hymer nova instead!

There seem to be far more complaints with the series 5 on the forum now than there ever was when we had our oklahoma!

All that said, we were very pleased with ours and you do get a lot for your money as you say!

Bet wishes, Andrew.

I just recieved my new Bailey Moselle. The enamel is coming off the hob (tiny piece), the door needs adjusted (Thats nothing) and the RCD and one of the MCBs needed replaced.... I still think its a cracking van, not a thing out of place otherwise.

Hi there, we have just taken delivery of our new wyoming series 5 all I can say is FANTASTIC. There are a lot of nice touches and a lot of thought gone into this van. We rally so the van is used 12 months of the year with 2 teenage children. The only problem I had was the 5 month wait to get it. This is our second bailey. Mark
