My Bailey has an Aquasmart pump, and an inside 27 Lr tank. The inside tank was not supplied with a WF3000 filter, the outside aquaroll pipe was.
Both these water sources use the same pump so do I need to fit a WF3000 to this tank? My next question is do the replacement filters come with the plastic fitting required to fit in the end of the pipe? Finally when draining the water system down as a frost precaution, is it necessary to operate the whale pump to clear water from the inlet pipes and pump. The dealer merely told me to open all the taps and shower. then open the yellow drop valve to drain the boiler etc. I would appreciate advice as if the Aquasmart does not drain it would be an expensive mistake.

You should have got a rather large folder with all the individual manufacturers operating instructions for every bit of equipment in your van when you took delivery of the van.
You need to read them, they contain the individual requirements for winter storage.
DO NOT rely on the dealer telling you the right thing

Yes I did get all the relevant information in the large folder, and read them cover to cover an excellent owners manual I might add, however it did not answer any of the questions I put to this forum!!!

You should get most of the water out by using the jockey wheel to raise the caravan fully up at the front, then lower fully down.

Allow sufficient time for any water to drain out. I always park the caravan low at the front to help drain the roof.

And the drains are at the front.

Don't forget to drain the inboard tank as well. There will be drain valve near the water inlet but under the van. The filters come complete and just screw in. You don't need to filter the onboard tank water as it is filtered in. I don't use tank or aquaroll water for drinking though as I don't trust bacteria not grow in the system. To drain everything i open all taps and valves before towing. the movement then empties the dregs out. The loo needs the plug removing in very cold weather and if you have a truma in line filter then that needs removing as well.

Thanks for the interesting comments. Bailey helpline also said no need to filter the onboard tank. Though the unicorn has a portable onboard tank which has to be filled at the service point like an aquaroll.
