Has anyone stayed at this site? If so, I would love to know what it is like.

Yes, we have.....mind you, it was 7 or 8 years ago, so my memories of it are a bit hazy (and it was over New Year, which meant my memory was probably clouded a bit by a drop or two of some alcoholic beverage!

). From what I remember, it was a very nice site, all hardstandings, I think, and very clean and tidy with nice shower block. The river tow path is adjacent, with nice walks and plenty of boats. At the time we stayed, a big firework display went on somewhere nearby at midnight on new year's eve, we stood outside the van (along with most others) and had a good clear view of it, which was nice and very festive (hic). Sorry I can't remember more!

…….a good site for visiting Bath.

All hard standings, reasonably quiet with well kept facilities.
Sheltered pitches with lots of trees.
Park and Ride is a 5 minute walk…… parking can be difficult in City centre.
Canal and marked cycle way to City adjacent. Good pub and restaurant nearby.
Relatively expensive site due to nearness to City.

Used the site 2 years ago, lots of trees so some pitches were in the shade all day and quite damp due to being next to the river. The hard standing we were on was a slab on concrete with a drop to the grass and made putting the awning up difficult,as said easy for park and ride.If you cycle or walk there is a disused railway line converted to a cycle walkway goes on for miles and great for cycling.
