I have just bought an old trophy caravan and want to re-do the walls in the bathroom. I think someone before has stuck sticky backed plastic I think it might be fablon but not sure. Anyway I want to go over the top of it and do a better job. Can anyone tell me if fablon is suitable if not could somone sujest something I could ues without replacing wallboards.

Hi Kristy,A friend of mine done his with the plastic cladding that you can get from diy stores,the plastic cladding you see underneath the soffits in peoples homes,to be honest it really looks great so when i get the time ill be doing my shower in the caravan myself,just a suggestion for you.

Thanks thats a really good solution. Only had the caravan a week and already taken it to Silvertone for 3 nights to see the F1 and booking a week away with the kids soon:)

It's a bit pricey but you can also buy a thin corrugated sheet for this purpose in bathroom shops with surface finish in suitable mild colours.
