Thanks. We used to get sunsets and sunrises like that most days in SA and we knew that it was time to put on swimming costumes and pull out the BBQ.
And here’s the same sun this morning from Wiltshire bedroom window. BB must have been in the Scouts.
We were also told the old rhyme Red sky in the morning Shepherds warning , red sky at night shepherds delight.
On the whole it is reasonably true.
Like cows sitting down in the field is a sign of rain.

When we lived in Cape Town the red sunrise over the Hottentot Holland Mountains to the north was quite spectacular. In those days it was not as built up as it is now and was just farmland for miles. Numerous photos can be Googled.
True! Ha ha, when it was red sky in Lanarkshire, it meant they were tipping the slag from the furnaces at the ravenscraig ,and could be seen for miles. Bet the same in Wales.
