What's the best service you've had from your Dealer/Manufacturer? Many threads complain of poor service, but let's name & fame the good ones! I'll kick off with mine:- Last August we bought our 4th van a new Caravelair Eden 470/2 - no faults everything worked on day 1. After a few '000 miles of towing the 'fridge became loose. So I phoned the Dealer - Highbridge Caravans in Somerset (60 miles from us) one Sunday afternoon, as we were off to Switzerland the following week,to be greeted with "You don't want to drive all that way for such a small fault Mr......, we have a technician doing a job just up the road from you - he'll be with you in about an hour" And he was, job done!! How's that for service?

I can name two companies in the south Wales area who have in my opinion provided excellent service, The first company is Sunnyhaven of Gorseinon, Swansea main local dealers for Bailey and Avondale. We bought our new Bailey from them and found that their help and advice during the transaction was second to none.

The other company I can recommend is Bridgend Caravan Service and Repair Centre In Brackla, Bridgend. Prior to buying our new van the service we had with this company on our old ABI Globetrotter was first class. Nothing was too much for them no matter whether it was a major problem or something trivial.

Well done to both these companies. I can, with a clear conscience, recommend both companies.

Phantom and Sola-larm have been marvellous in helping trying to sort out an appalling alarm installation on our new caravan where the dealer and installer have been totally useless and did nothing.
