This has got beyond a joke now, it's getting that every weekend is the same. People must be peed off to keep typing away and see their artistic prose fly off into cyberspace, never to be seen again. I get visuals of the techies sat at home laughing their heads off at us knowing full well that at knocking off time on Friday the site will crash :O(

I for one (some will be pleased - hehheh!) will not bother posting anymore. I will poke my snout in ocassionally to see if it's any better but i think theres more chance of me pushing "up" daisies before the sites "up" graded. I feel sorry for His Moddyship for having to put up with such cr*p.

Couldn't agree more Lord B. It's almost as if the site is switched off for the weekend. Maybe the neg comments about the mag are getting too much for them. Spent some time looking at rival site which looks ok and may get my vote if this one doesn't get its act together.

Darned frustrating when you are typing a from the hip reply.

Must be getting old, cos I loose the train of thought on the re- print.

Best get the mods to chuck a few more lumps of coal on the server and wind the rubber band a bit tighter.

may be the Mods could kninck the editorial server and then they could have the hassle.

Aint typing any more the message has gonre to crawl pace again.

Steve.

I believe the problem is that when the Forum was upgraded (remember how before you had to post via a moddy each time?) it now allows us to "chat" and basically say what we want within reason.

So the "service" that Haymarket provided that was enormously helpful to me when I first got my caravan has evolved into a kind of chat room.

And to be fair - the Forum is dominated by an opinionated few (and I include myself in that description) who regularly criticise the PC Mag and the Editorial team.

From a business point of view - if it were me running things and it was my job to sell magazines and advertising space within said magazine - I would have pulled the plug on the Forum some time ago.

We monitor our marketing activities carefully to make sure that every
