Blinds & Heater Problems

We have a Bailey Pegasus 534, 2011, since our first trip we have had problems with the side window blinds. The problem is that the cords become loose resulting in the blinds not closing properly. This has now happened on 3 different windows, first 2 have been corrected and the 3rd will be done when I next take the van in for some other repairs.
The other issue I have found is that running the heater on gas results in the plastic (wood effect) cover over the flue pipe gets very hot (unable to touch for longer than 1 second), this has resulted in the cover becoming bowed.
My caravan dealer has been very helpful, however I was wondering if any other Bailey owners have had the same problems with the blinds and heater and if these problems will persist until I replace the van?

I see you can win "the award winning 534" in the Camping and Caravan Club, but after what problems you are having i dont think i'll enter. Once again they churn out loads of vans without doing their homework.I note your van is going in for other repairs. Poor design and sloppy workmanship. My Lunar Delta 2009 has had 25 problems and has just come back from the factory. Its about time caravanners stood up to them and demanded value for money. If everybody refused to buy a new van next year regardles of make the industry would have to listen. I for one are fed up of being taken for a mug !!

We have had a few niggles with our Delta TI also but nothing major, however before we even took delivery on testing the front blinds all three came apart as the slider at the end of the blind came adrift. Thye are the concertina type of blind. Only hassles now is the water supply an deciding where to re-locate the toilet paper holder as I do not have arms like an orangutan to reach behind me.

Okay so I know it's not helpful but the sales person at Lawns said when I questioned the build quality in the bailey's that there had been hundreds of people walking through them!!!! are you sure you haven't been using it too much??????
