We are thinking off going away for a week in November has anyone been to this site it says Adults only but after reading the reviews some say they have seen children we have nothing against them do I have to be concern about the busy road do you hear it .
Looking at the images it looks like it rural just making sure that the case wanted a quiet place for our two dogs with it been Bonfire and fireworks on the arrival day .

It is rural but next to the busy A44 which is in use day and night as a main road to Pershore, Evesham etc. ,but maybe the pitches are far off the road so little noise?
I think that previously it may have been a C&CC CS as it looks to be in the same area. White Hall farm in the same area is adult only and if I remember correctly may have fully serviced pitches?
TBH although we use the A44 and passed by Hyde Farm many times as we live not far away we have never heard of Bowbrooke until I looked it up. If you are a member of the CAMC there are some CLs in the Malvern area with fully serviced pitches.

Hi BB
Bowbrook is a new site, not too far from Jn 6 M5, it's only been operating for a couple of years.
We used to go to C&CC rallies at Hyde Farm which is next to Bowbrook, and although the A44 is a busy trunk road we didn't feel that the road noise was too intrusive at Hyde Farm.
I don't know if the site is adults only, but at 25 acres I would imagine that it would be easy enough to keep some distance between yourselves and other campers.
There's not much at Pinvin, but the site is a reasonable drive from Worcester, Malvern, Pershore, the Vale of Evesham, Tewkesbury and the Cotswolds so there's plenty of places to visit.
In the Spring, Pinvin and the nearby village of Wyre Piddle are on the edge of the Blossom Trail.
This is when the thousands of apple, pear, cherry and plum trees which grow in the area are in bloom, providing a pastel display of nature's confetti.

Looking at map Hyde and Bowbrooke appear to be one and the same with the camp site now being behind the residence. However doubt if there will be any issue with fireworks in the vicinity.

It looks as though the rally field that belonged to Hyde Farm is under new management and has become Bowbroke, with a new entrance, glamping pods, a shower block and the barn where West Midlands DA held their entertainment nights now converted to a holiday let.
I "am in agreement" that there is very little likelihood of fireworks nearby.
Sorry, couldn't resist 😁

Why not just change dates and not go on the weekend that fireworks could be going off. Your dogs need your help. Don't stress them out for your sake of getting away.

There are reasons for choosing this date: to check work we will have completed prior to this, to take the dogs away from the fireworks [especially as one is 12+years old and need to have quiet [lacking in our home environment at this time of year]. With this in mind we are assessing our options, the van will then be put into caravan storage. with the breathable cover till March 2022

At that time of the year you can potentially expect fireworks from the run up to Halloween through to Bonfire Night and beyond depending on when Bonfire Night falls. Your best bet would be a CL/CS some distance from a village or town. Fortunately our dogs have never been bothered by fireworks or other sudden loud noises, although one is now pretty deaf and tonight’s son et lumiere didn’t even disturb her. The other one at least lifted her head up a couple of times.

Defo says it’s Adult only. Sounds comfy and appears to have dog walking in woods. Not sure what views you get. Note there is a pub nearby🍺🍺. Hutch , make a note. Have you asked the site about fireworks on or near the site? Otherwise enjoy.

Bowbrook isn't near enough to a town for fireworks to cause a disturbance.

Sadly, the nearest pub isn't within walking distance, you'd have to go in the car.
Most of the pubs in the area have morphed into gastro pubs with varying levels of success.

Having tried the pubs in the area local to the campsite at some time or other I doubt whether we would go back to either of them however at Wyre Piddle the pub there is supposed to be very good. We never got the opportunity to use it.

The best pub in the area was sold by the retiring landlord for conversion to flats amid much controversy and protest from CAMRA.
It was The Brandy Cask on Bridge St, Pershore.
The pub had it's own micro brewery where very good ale was brewed and there were extensive gardens that stretched down to the River Avon.
An interesting and tragic fact about the building was that a Vickers Wellington bomber crashed into the pub in May 1943, demolishing part of the top floor and bursting into flames in the garden, killing the 5 men onboard.
There are still some decent pubs for meals in the area, The March Hare and The Cuckoo being two of our favourites for food.

I am pleased it not near a town and it rural and fireworks will not be a problem and the pubs are not to far way and we can use the car and try them for a meal & a drink (y)

I remember the Brandy Cask, but never went in. In Wyre Piddle it is the Anchor Inn. However I don't think BB drinks alcohol but food is supposed to be good. At Anchor Inn you can watch all the boats sailing by.

Here is a suggestion while you are in the area. Take a drive over to Great Malvern and rive up the hill to the Wyche Inn for lunch. Spectacular views across the Malverns. They say on a clear day you can see Oxford etc.
When done there go around the back of the hills to West Malvern Road and go down about a mile or so. On the right there is a fresh water spring. If you have a couple of bottles with you fill up with genuine spring water. It is free!
Your tea or coffee will taste completely different.

We have received a reply from the site but they are having a firework display when we were hoping to go. Having dogs who are nervous will means we are unable to arrange for November but will keep it on the back burner for future reference

If you are a CAMC member have a look at Herberts Field in Malvern as has fully serviced pitches with water connection. Waste water goes into hedge. We have stayed there over bonfire night with our nervous dog and she was okay.
