Hi guys I'm replacing the bracke shoes on my lunar ultima 420 2012 it has an alko axle. I've done the oneside no problems but on this side. You can see in the pic there's a yellow stopper to the right of the brake drum. So to get my fingers in to release the little clip that holds the locating spring in the shoes I need to being the backing plate forward but in the second pic the wines with the torques bolts. I'm just trying to find out the torque setting for these bolts. Cheers guys.

Apart from the hub nut, which is "one-shot" so needs replacing, you shouldn't need to undo or tighten any other bolts/nuts to change the brake shoes.

Because of the bracket behind the backing plate holding the thing to the right of the brake drum in the first pic. You can't get your fingers behind to take out the clip holding the locating spring in place to take the shoes off.

Try pushing the spring towards the brake shoe and twisting 90 degrees at the same time.

The spring will come out I'm just worried about the metal clip that holds it in place. When the spring comes out the clip will fall out and you can't get your fingers behind to replace it

You are correct when I changed the brake shoes on our caravan I had to remove the alko wheel lock receiver due to the small plate on the back of the back plate that the spring clip goes through, I couldn't find the torque setting so I tightened the screws to 150nm(if I remember correctly) and also put locktite on them, done over 1000 miles since with no problems.
Hope this helps
