Now I'm all for another holiday, but what do you think of Brown's idea for "British Day"

So far his government have sold us out to Europe and we have more and more dictates from the boys in Brussels. Millions spent on devolution that seems to divide rather than unite Britain. And with Blair jumping to Bush's tune many think we sjould be celebrating 4th of July.

Brown and Blair have let loads of jobs go abroad and seem to have no idea who or how many people they let into the country. Then celebrating Christmas or mentioning christian beliefs or ideals is banned dropped or frowned on because it might offend ethic minorities.

More and more of our civil liberties are being eroded and traditions like the weekend break from working and paid holiday entitilements are also being attacked and we arfe now told that they want us to work until we are nearly 70 as trhey have blown the pension funds.

I can't quite see how Brown has the nerve to maake the suggestions when under his government more of the "BRITISH" ways of life have been trashed.

He also stated that the Union flag is not a symbol of the British National Party but the flag of Great Britain. This gives me the impression that more and more electorate are thinking along the lines of the BNP and that the Labour party are running scared.

Any foreign person, in my opinion, is welcome in this country, however as part of their citizanship they should be made to declare that should they break the law of this country they will be punished and deported back to their native land. This would not include minor laws such as petty speeding offences - we are probably all guilty of that only some have not got caught. This would also not preclude them from following their own religous belief as long as they recognise that this country is predominantly Christion and that the Christian ways will be respected by all. Like wise us Christians will have respect for their chosen religion. Live and let live as all men are equal.

... and they are prepared if they cant already speak the language. We have people who have been here since the 50s who still cant communicate in their adopted country.
