Hi all,

Am planning to visit Brynich in a few weeks time, and have noticed they are now a CC site.

However the prices on the CC website are extremely high so it must be an error.

I go onto Brynich's website and it diverts to the CC website.

http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/Planning your trip/UK Trips/Site Search and Book/Club Sites/Site Detail.htm?csid=BRYNICH CARAVAN CLUB SITE&site=Brynich+Caravan+Club+Site&region=Wales&county=-1
According to these prices it would cost us £37 per night to visit, this can't be right, can it ?

Has anyone visited since the CC became part of it and if so are these prices correct ??

Many Thanks

Ian

Ian, why not pop across the road to Bishop's Meadow? Excellent site, especially in low season, with spectacular views and a good bar/restaurant at the entrance.Google Bishop's Meadow.

Aberbran is quite pleasant. Its an old railway station, but doesn't have any views. I don't think its got any facilities either. There used to be a pretty CL just before the Aberbran site, which I believe has now been extended into a full scale independent site. Might be worth a look.

The Royale club have used Bishops Meadow for our March rally for years, until this year, when we had a change, but I think we'll be back in '09.

Hi Lb,

sounds great just had a look on the CC website and have found it, it has a toilet block and electric hook up, it looks like just what we are looking for.

What is the access like to the site ??

Many Thanks

Ian

I haven't been yet Ian but it's on my list of sites to go to this year once Her Ladyship gets her leave sorted out.

We did try to book for Easter or the May Bank Hols but they were fully booked for those dates. The access can't be bad else I wouldn't have put it down to go to :O)

It's only an hour from me so is ideal for a long weekend. The tempter for me though is that it's next to the canal, great for going walks with the dogs.

Hi LB,

The reason that we were so keen to visit Brynich was because it was within easy walking to the canal, but as this site is also right by the canal it is ideal for us. We also like Brecon because it is only an hour away from us so is an easy weekend away.

Lets just hope they have space for april 11th !!

Many Thanks

Ian
