Burgundy sites

Dear All,

Its Burgundy for us next year. SWMBO would have been happy winding the legs down INSIDE Calais ferryport but she has finally seen sense.

Here's the question. Any good sites to recommend?

We prefer small to large and quiet to noisy but other than that, as Gallic virgins we are in your hands(so to speak)

You might like to look at Chateau de l'Eperviere, just South of Chalon-sur-Saone. The noisiest thing on the site when we stayed there was the ducks on the lake! They have good indoor and outdoor pools, a bar, restaurant (superb) and organize wine-tasting etc.

This site is great for young children or for oldies, but I doubt if teenagers would find it too their taste. Our only reservation was that, although there were campers from all over Europe - British, Dutch, Irish, Germans, Belgians, etc, there were absolutely NO French people on site, apart from a few of the staff. So you won't get a true taste of France if you choose this for your first trip.

It is a 'Castels and Camping' site, so you can get full details from their website.
