1 juction down J27 you will find the minnows cc site. Its 5 minuites from the m5 and has toilets and shower block. Its right on the grand western canal. Great for a stopover

Cadeside used to be good for a stopover then they made it mainly a storage site so only a few pitches which get booked up. So book earl. You will have no troble getting to it with your van

We called at Cadside a few years ago as a stop over to Plymouth. Only two mintes off the junction - off the motorway - turn right and follow signs to Wellington - I think on A38 but follow directions in CC book - very clear. We also had a twin axle - there are pitches round the outside in a circle with an island in the middle which you can just drive onto and put legs down.

both sites are 10 mins or so from me and either are both suitably adequate for an overnight stop and probably both equal distance from the M5. I would say Minnows is slighly more "picturesque" if you want canal side walks (handy for dog owners) and a local pub within easy walking distance.
