Cairnsmill Caravan Park St Andrews

We are going to the Leuchers air show again this year and are considering giving the above site a try. I have read the reviews and they are mostly very positive just wondering if anyone on the forum had been to the site and had any experience of it. We normally go to Craigtoun Meadows which is about 3 miles for this site but we would like to try Cairnsmill as it has the swimming pool etc.

Hi there, We have been to both Craigtoun & Cairnsmill. I would say Craigtoun is the nicest site (looks wise) but Cairnsmill is the best for facilities on site. When we were there a new swimming pool was being built, there was bingo on in the lounge on the Friday night and entertainment on the Saturday night, showers were fine, staff are friendly, we wanted to go back for another long weekend but our friends needed to hire a static that slept 8 whilst we took the tourer but Cairnsmill didn't have large enough, but I will be back to this site so enjoy if you decide to go xx
